For this project, I was tasked with using simple shapes to create animals as best as I could in adobe illustrator. The first task I needed to complete was to find out which animal I should create, since I am a fan of frogs I chose my favorite frog, the desert rain frog. 

After choosing my animal, I needed to sketch it out in a 8:7 grid. This is the low poly version of the final comp to test how small the features could be on any given animal without loosing it's integrity. 

The second frog was slightly bigger at 14:12. This one I could give my frog more features, more patterns and a nice look in it's eye. 

This Frog is the biggest, Using this 18:16 grid, I made the most detailed and biggest frog of the bunch. This was one of my favorite projects, using simple shapes to make a detailed little froggy.
